A quite place without too many tourist, we enjoy a really wonderful morning here walking around the lake.
It is a large lake which was still pretty cold after weeks of heat. It was also very crowded with lots of children because of a nearby camping.
It was magnificent place with great views especially in the Staudam area! Staying at the Roompot is recommended!
Very beautiful place for visiting and hiking.
Definitely recommended to go swimming. The water was cold but you could sit well on the grass. For families with small children it is less interesting. There is no beach so children can not play with sand.
The location is stunning and it is great for swimming. There are paddle boats to hire and SUP too. There is ample parking, toilets and a cafe.
